James “Jim” Pelis was caught on clear video keying the truck. Tesla owner Kerri Pouliot recorded everything, and the footage makes it all too obvious.

Pelis didn’t even try to hide his actions. When a police officer asked him, “You didn’t key that Tesla?” he coolly answered, “No.” No twists, no turning around—just flat out denial. This kind of response screams accountability dodger, a prime example of the left’s double-standard approach.

Carroll Police Chief Tadd Bailey confirmed the March 22 incident is under active investigation, with charges pending. It’s hard not to wonder if the media would shout from the rooftops if a conservative had pulled off a similar stunt.

The fallout didn’t stop with the criminal act. Pelis’s employer, ArmorCode, quickly disassociated itself. They stated, “ArmorCode has been made aware of an incident where one of our employees allegedly vandalized a Tesla vehicle. We of course do not condone violence or destruction of private property in any way, period. This is now in the hands of the proper authorities.” Notice the word “allegedly,” used despite the clear video evidence. If this were a Trump supporter, you can bet the company wouldn’t waste time with a half-hearted statement.

This episode really highlights a bigger picture. The left’s approach seems to be a disregard for law and order. While they push for policies that weaken police authority, President Donald Trump’s America stands firm on law enforcement and accountability. Conservatives believe in serious consequences for criminal actions, and that makes all the difference in keeping communities safe.

The message is loud and clear: actions have consequences. When the left’s own commit criminal acts, they dodge the fallout and expect leniency. In contrast, Trump’s supporters know that justice isn’t up for debate.
