Prominent Donors, Including Disney Heiress, Consider Halting Contributions to Democrats Unless Biden Resigns

In a surprising turn of events, Joe Biden, the current Democratic presidential candidate, is facing opposition from within his own party. Some prominent donors, including Abigail Disney, heiress to the Disney family fortune, have voiced their discontent with Biden’s candidacy.

These donors have made it clear that they will stop funding the Democrat Party until Biden withdraws from the presidential race. This internal conflict within the party could potentially impact its campaign efforts and overall stability.

“I intend to stop any contributions to the party unless and until they replace Biden at the top of the ticket. This is realism, not disrespect. Biden is a good man and has served his country admirably, but the stakes are far too high,” Abigail Disney stated on CNBC last Thursday.

Disney further warned that if Biden does not step down, Democrats will lose and face “genuinely dire” consequences. Her decision to withhold future donations marks a significant shift after years of financial support for the party.

A report by The Gateway Pundit also revealed that Joe Biden and Democrats are in trouble with Hollywood’s prominent donors ‘freaked-out’ over his debate performance.

“With all the text chains I’m on, people are basically like, ‘If he doesn’t drop out, we’re not giving any more money to Democrats or the Democratic Party.’ It’s super intense,” one donor told Variety.

The situation seems severe enough that other donors threaten to cut off support unless Democrats find a way to replace Biden as their nominee. Hannah Linkenhoker, an influential political advisor to Hollywood donors, expressed her disappointment in Biden’s inability to hold Trump accountable and questioned the continued support for Biden and the Democrats.

Despite this internal opposition, Biden remains defiant. He addressed these concerns during a campaign staff call on Wednesday, vowing to continue running until the end.

“Let me say this as clearly as I possibly can, as simply and straightforward as I can: I am running. No one’s pushing me out. I’m not leaving,” Biden stated.

The Democratic Party is undoubtedly facing a challenging time with dissent from within its own ranks. It remains to be seen how this will impact their campaign efforts and overall performance in the upcoming election.
