Supporters of the Biden campaign received a comprehensive email on Saturday night. The message was one of encouragement, urging them to “keep the faith,” and aimed to boost morale among those still grappling with Joe Biden’s less than stellar debate performance against President Trump on Thursday. During this debate, Biden often seemed disoriented and bewildered.
In a surprising move, the email from the Biden campaign included results of a poll conducted by a Democrat pollster. This poll indicated that President Trump would defeat not just Biden, but every other named Democrat as well. However, the argument made by the campaign is that Trump only surpasses Biden by three points while all others lose to Trump by similar margins.
The introduction to this email was sent out by Deputy Campaign Manager Rob Flaherty and has been shared publicly by ABC News reporter Will Steakin:

HuffPost’s Yashar Ali posted an excerpt from this intriguing email:
“The bedwetting brigade is calling for Joe Biden to “drop out.” That is the best possible way for Donald Trump to win and us to lose.
First of all: Joe Biden is going to be the Democratic nominee, period. End of story. Voters voted. He won overwhelmingly. And if he were to drop out, it would lead to weeks of chaos, internal foodfighting, and a bunch of candidates who limp into a brutal floor fight at the convention, all while Donald Trump has time to speak to American voters uncontested.
All of that would be in service of a nominee who would go into a general election in the weakest possible position with zero dollars in their bank account. You want a highway to losing? It’s that.”

Bill Kristol, a well-known critic of Trump, observed that the Biden campaign may be in panic mode. He pointed out that the chart included in their fundraising email purports to show Biden as the strongest candidate against Trump but fails to do so convincingly.
Panic at Biden HQ?
They included a chart in their fundraising email purporting to show Biden's the strongest candidate against Trump. It shows no such thing. All the possible Dem candidates–though obviously less well known than Biden–already do just as well as Biden. https://t.co/h10v4BCTgw
