Trump EPA Ousts 455 Workers in Bold Strike Against Radical Woke Policies

Trump’s EPA Slaps Out “Woke” Workers in Bold Move

The EPA under President Trump isn’t messing around. They’ve cut loose 455 employees. Some got fired, others reassigned. The goal? End the radical, woke programs pushed by Biden’s team.

The workers who lost their jobs were deep in “environmental justice” and “diversity, equity, and inclusion” roles. Many worked in the EPA’s Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights, Office of Inclusive Excellence, and regional offices.

According to the report, Axios noted that 280 employees received termination notices in a “reduction in force.” Another 175 employees are being reassigned to other statutory functions.

An EPA spokesperson put it bluntly: “EPA is taking the next step to terminate the Biden-Harris Administration’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Environmental Justice arms of the agency.”

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin isn’t holding back. He’s calling out waste and promising a serious change. On X, he fired off a tweet that said: “No matter how hard some try to circle the wagons to defend lighting billions of YOUR tax dollars on fire to be misspent in a $20 BILLION Green Slush Fund, I will not compromise on my ZERO tolerance policy against ANY waste and abuse!”

Zeldin has been busy on more than one front. At a recent press conference link, he laid out his plan to clean up the agency. “When we came in, we inherited an operation that, for the most part, people weren’t even here in the office,” he stated.

“Covid-era remote work is over.

“When I came in, I had asked the team, ‘How much have employees been coming in since January of 2024?’

“And the answer is that on Mondays and Fridays, it averaged five to eight percent.

“The record high attendance was 37%.”

“Getting people back in the office is a priority now,” he declared. Zeldin argues that reining in remote work will help the EPA cut costs and make smarter decisions about its real estate footprint. In fact, the agency has already saved around $18 million by consolidating space from the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.

But the cleanup isn’t just about cutting waste inside the agency. Zeldin is also tackling a major environmental headache – sewage from Mexico. He toured a San Diego County plant that treats wastewater from the polluted Tijuana River. Zeldin made it clear that the EPA is pushing for action.

“This is not a U.S.-side answer,” Zeldin told KXTV.

“I wish that we could resolve this all on our own.

“There’s a lot of needs on the Mexican side.”

He mentioned discussions with Mexican officials about “chemical treatment” and “diverting 10 million gallons per day from the Tijuana River to the dam.”

“We want both sides to sit down and go project by project to talk about the timeline of everything and make sure that every single project is operating on the tightest timeline possible,” he added.
