Daniel Seavey, a member of the band Why Don’t We, has a tattoo on his arm, of a person climbing in through a window … which may have become the inspiration for one obsessed fan to break into the singer’s home and sleep in his bed.
LAPD sources said the 23-year-old woman broke into Daniel’s L.A. home Wednesday night. Surveillance footage of the woman shows her pacing outside his front door holding flowers, seemingly waiting to see him, but when she realized he wasn’t home, she climbed in through an unlocked window.
Once inside, the woman rummaged through Daniel’s closet and put on a “Free Hoover” hoodie he’d gotten from Drake and Kanye’s show back in December. Then she crawled into Daniel’s bed and fell asleep.
When the well-rested uninvited woman woke up Thursday morning, she made her way to Daniel’s kitchen — where she was again caught on surveillance video — wearing the hoodie and rummaging through his cabinets while listening to Adele’s “Can I Get It.”
When the singer checked his phone Thursday morning and saw the home surveillance video of the woman, he called the police. She was taken into custody and taken for a psychiatric evaluation.
The woman told authorities that she had recently seen the tattoo on Daniel’s arm and she believed they were meant to be together.
So far, no criminal charges have been filed.
