The Republicans were attacked by Speaker Nancy Pelosi last week on the House floor. She was not aware that the activities she was condemning were ones Democrats have been engaging in for a while.
“What do Republicans have in store next?” Pelosi said.
“You can’t travel to buy a book? You can’t travel to see a concert or a play if it doesn’t meet their shall we say — *long sigh* — I’m not even gonna use the word standards. Their what?”

The Democrats were definitely acting in that manner throughout the entire years of 2020 and 2021, you know. In fact, a large number of them still act in this way now.
All of this was in response to a recent house vote that would have permitted women to travel outside of their state to other cities for abortions.
They come up with these ideas that they want to attribute to Republicans, but the fact that they are the ones who actually implement those ideas strikes me as being so ludicrous.
But to be honest, I can think of a few specific things right now.
I am aware of liberal celebrities of all stripes, including actors and singers, who refuse to perform if their demands are not met, regardless of whether it directly affects them.
Halsey reportedly told her audience at one of her shows that they should leave if they don’t support abortion and that she wouldn’t even want them as fans.
Democrats are the ones who also favor the ban of books. It’s the awakened culture, to be more specific. Republicans have never demanded that books be banned.
Only improper books should be kept out of public schools, according to our policy on books. That is not an unreasonable request.
