Thomas Massie speaking about the Epstein files

Massie to expose secret Epstein names on floor

Massie Says He Will Read Names

Rep. Thomas Massie said on NBC’s Meet the Press that he plans to read redacted names from the Epstein files on the House floor before he leaves Congress in January 2027. He pointed to the speech and debate clause, which gives lawmakers broad protection for words spoken in the chamber. That is one of the few corners of Washington where people can talk first and worry about paperwork later. Massie said he has named at least three billionaires in the past and expects to keep going in the coming weeks and months.

He Says The Files Are Still Hidden

Massie argued that the Justice Department has not released all of the material required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump signed last November. He said there are still millions of files and that victim lawyers told him the 302 interview forms have not been turned over. He also said some records have been overredacted, which in government terms usually means the public gets a black box and a polite lecture about transparency. Massie said the lack of full disclosure makes it hard to believe the case can be fully resolved.

He Cites Blanche, Patel, And Melania

The Kentucky Republican took aim at Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel, saying both had effectively denied that anyone else was in the files. He went further and said their comments amounted to perjury. He also invoked a statement attributed to Melania Trump, who said Epstein was not alone and called for a public congressional hearing where survivors could testify under oath. Massie said that, regardless of whether he remains in Congress, the law still requires future officials to keep releasing the files. Bureaucracy, as ever, would prefer a locked cabinet and a press release.
