Gal Gadot: A Star Standing Strong Against Hate
Ever notice how the party that boasts about tolerance turns a blind eye when it comes to Jewish folks? It’s a weird double standard. Radical Democrats talk up inclusivity, yet they let antisemitism run wild—from college campuses to our city streets.
Even in Hollywood, the hate is creeping in. Gal Gadot, our modern Wonder Woman, isn’t staying silent. She’s out here proudly defending her Israeli heritage while the liberal establishment looks the other way.
This week at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, things got out of hand. Anti-Israel protesters crashed the celebration. They held up signs like “Heros [sic] Fight Like Palestinians” and “Viva Viva Palestina.” The chaos lasted a full 15 minutes, forcing the police to step in. Video captured by Variety showed protesters shouting “Shame on Gal Gadot” and “Up up with liberation, down down with occupation.” Some even ended up cuffed as their actions went far beyond peaceful protest. All of this targeted a successful immigrant woman who stands for the very values the left claims to support.
Despite the disruption, Gal Gadot eventually got her moment. In a heartfelt speech, she thanked “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins and “The Fast and the Furious” star Vin Diesel. With genuine humility, she described herself as “just a girl from a town in Israel,” a proud nod to her roots that clearly set off her detractors.
Unlike many stars who keep their opinions under wraps, Gadot has been upfront ever since the October 7 Hamas attacks that killed over 1,200 Israelis. As told by her own words:
From ‘The Daily Wire’:
“But on October 7, when people were abducted from their homes, from their beds, men, women, children, elderly, Holocaust survivors, were going through the horrors of what happened that day, I could not be silent,” she declared. “I was shocked by the amount of hate, by the amount of how much people think they know when they actually have no idea, and also by how the media is not fair many times. So I had to speak up.”
Gadot’s words hit hard because they come from deep personal ties to Israel. She said, “I’m not a hater,” explaining, “I’m a grandchild of a Holocaust survivor who came to Israel and established his family from scratch after his entire family was erased in Auschwitz. And on the other side of my family, I’m eighth-generation Israeli. I’m an indigenous person of Israel.” Imagine the pain of surviving trauma passed down through generations, only to be attacked for simply owning who you are. This is a harsh truth that many Democrats seem too cozy with to ever confront.
At the Anti-Defamation League’s annual summit, Gadot shined a light on the dangerous double standard. “Never did I imagine that on the streets of the United States, and different cities around the world, we would see people not condemning Hamas, but celebrating, justifying and cheering on a massacre of Jews,” she said. She didn’t hold back. Addressing the pain felt by Jewish women in the wake of the October 7 attacks—women who suffered unspeakable horrors—Gadot questioned why, in times of crisis, the expected support was met with a deafening silence.
Meanwhile, Democratic leadership seems more interested in appeasing radical voices than taking a firm stand against antisemitism. Their lukewarm reactions speak volumes. In contrast, Gadot’s simple wish is for everyone “to have good life and prosperity, and the ability to raise their children in a safe environment.” Yet, all the while, radical protesters and progressive politicians ignore the real problem: demonizing Israel and its supporters.
