Palin Poised to Reignite America First Energy
Trump’s comeback is stirring up some real America First spirit. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is stepping up and isn’t holding back.
In a recent interview with NewsNation, when asked if she’d join Trump’s team, she didn’t hesitate: “Yes, I would. I would love to.”
Palin ruled energy-rich Alaska from 2006 to 2009 and has long been a fierce advocate for American energy independence. She even expressed surprise at being sidelined during Trump’s first stint—especially in the energy arena. “That’s my baby,” she said, pointing to her passion for making America energy independent. And she’s spot on—energy security is the backbone of national strength.
Under Trump, the U.S. broke free from dependence on foreign energy for the first time in decades. Then Biden came in and unwound that progress. Now, with Trump back in the White House, it’s the perfect moment to bring in leaders who know what it takes to make America strong again.
But here’s the kicker—Palin hinted that “gatekeepers” surrounding Trump might’ve kept her out last time. She even mentioned that she wasn’t given credentials to attend the GOP convention, despite being one of the few Republican presidential or vice presidential candidates to openly back Trump. This raises some serious questions about who’s really making the staffing calls.
America First isn’t about protecting the elite in D.C.—it’s about getting real conservatives in place who are ready to do the heavy lifting. If Trump wants to truly kick out the deep state, he’s got to stick with fighters like Palin.
Even after her 2022 congressional run in Alaska didn’t go as planned, Palin remains a powerhouse in the conservative movement. Her early endorsement of Trump in 2016 solidified his backbone among grassroots conservatives, and she’s still a force to be reckoned with. When Trump sets out to fill key roles in energy or interior, Palin’s name should be top of mind.
Trump’s second administration holds a golden opportunity to take control from the deep state and steer America back onto the right path. For that to happen, any “gatekeepers” blocking strong conservatives need to step aside. It’s time for bold moves and clear leadership—the kind that puts America’s future first.
