Violence and the Media’s Evasive Game
A 24-year-old Georgia man, Aliakbar Mohammad Amin, is in hot water. The Department of Justice charged him with making violent threats against Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and her family. The charges come at a time when politically driven violence is on the rise.
Amin didn’t hold back. He sent chilling messages like these:
- “Death to America means death to America literally, Tulsi is living on borrowed time.”
- “The home you two own… is a legitimate target and will be hit at a time and place of our choosing.”
- “Prepare to die, you, Tulsi, and everyone you hold dear. America will burn.”
His social media even showed an image of a gun aimed at a photo of Gabbard and her husband. Federal agents even found a weapon when they raided his home. This shows just how serious the threat was.
This isn’t an isolated case. Earlier this week, a New Mexico man got charged for arson attacks on a Tesla facility and the Republican Party headquarters in New Mexico. And to top it off, another person from Pennsylvania was nabbed for threatening names like Elon Musk, ICE agents, and even President Donald Trump.
Where is the outrage from the left? While the liberal media chases unfounded claims of “right-wing extremism,” real violence is being inflicted by left-wing radicals and anti-Trump extremists. Outlets like CNN, MSNBC, and The New York Times stay silent on these issues. Had these threats targeted a Democratic official, you’d see a media firestorm. But because the target is tied to the Trump administration, the story gets buried.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi wasn’t messing around when she warned, “Let this be the final lesson to those taking part in this ongoing wave of political violence. We will arrest you, we will prosecute you, and we will not negotiate. Crimes have consequences.”
The Trump administration has acted swiftly. They’ve even set up an FBI task force to tackle attacks against Republican institutions like Tesla and other conservative establishments. Law and order isn’t just talk, and the contrast with the left’s rhetoric is clear.
