The political season has plenty of paid spots, but Conservative Momma’s latest video does not look like a traditional campaign ad. The creator has been producing videos on X since 2012, and the article describes her as talented. On Monday, September 28, 2026, she posted a midterm promo built around a blunt premise: voters who refuse to participate because a politician delivered only part of a promise may be helping the side they oppose. The skit focuses on women who say they will stay home because Donald Trump did not meet every expectation. Its slogan, ‘Don’t vote, try communism!’ is not subtle. Subtlety, apparently, was left in the editing room.
Four Excuses to Stay Home
The video is split into four parts. The first character says she voted for Trump 17 times but will skip the midterms because he delivered only about 80 percent of what she wanted. She compares that choice to stopping a marathon at the 26-mile marker, which is a fairly efficient way to make the point. The second character, a suburban housewife, says she gets her politics from podcasters and will not vote because they told her not to. ‘Orders received, right?’ is the joke. The third former Trump voter says she wants to show Republicans who is boss, even while admitting that sitting out could put Democrats in charge and leave ‘commies’ running the show, with an added joke about eating pets. The fourth character is a liberal voter who supports the sit-out while rattling off deliberately exaggerated positions about women’s sports, men becoming pregnant, surgery for gender-confused children, an open border, and individual liberty. She even says she probably should not be in the video, while still backing the people who are. The target is the habit of treating a general election like a personal punishment session. The video’s argument is simple: refusing to vote may feel like sending a message, but it can produce the government the abstaining voter claims to oppose. It is political satire, not a neutral voter guide, but it makes its case without requiring a focus group to explain the punchline.
