A Gateway Pundit report identifies the University of Texas at San Antonio student who appeared at a Turning Point USA “Pick Up the Mic” event and read a poem celebrating Charlie Kirk’s assassination. She reportedly introduced herself as “Pamper Baby” before launching into a parody of “The Night Before Christmas.”
The poem included the lines “as we solemnly remembered a shot to the neck” and an invitation to a “Squirt for Kirk” event. Afterward, the student reportedly told Texas Youth Summit founder Christian Collins that he was “brave” for appearing on campus without neck protection. That is a remarkable way to handle a microphone, especially at an event supposedly built around free expression rather than celebrating political violence.
Collins posted video of the incident and said he would pray for her. His description of the encounter was blunt: “At @UTSA for Pick Up the Mic, a student read a poem celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk with such glee, then told me I was brave to be out here without my neck covered. I told her I’d pray for her. This is the climate. We pick up the mic anyway.”
According to the report, some people in the audience cheered the performance. Kirk was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University in September 2025, making the poem’s subject more than ordinary political snark. When murder becomes a punchline and a crowd treats it like entertainment, the country is looking at a serious collapse in basic decency.
After the video spread online, the student was identified as Isa Casahuga-Lemgruber. She is reportedly a Class of 2029 student majoring in International Relations and Diplomacy, from Houston, and a graduate of St. Agnes Academy. Someone then registered the domain IsaCasahuga.com and published information about her educational background, along with the poem and video.
The website appears designed to make the incident easy to find whenever someone searches her name, including potential future employers. The internet, as usual, has a longer memory than the people who thought a campus performance would disappear after the applause stopped. Still, public accountability and online retaliation are not the same thing, and both sides of that distinction matter.
Jack Posobiec, a Turning Point USA contributor and close friend of Kirk, told The Gateway Pundit, “It is plain for all to see. The Left wants us dead. I am not using hyperbole; they are openly celebrating murder, violence, and the slaughter of their political opponents.” His comment captures the broader argument over whether the incident represents a fringe outburst or a more troubling willingness to treat violence against conservatives as comedy.
The report also cites social-media posts from ElectionMapsIF that questioned the student’s family background and called for the entire family to be removed from the country. That reaction added another ugly layer to the controversy, shifting the discussion from condemning the poem to targeting relatives and immigration status. Conservatives have every right to condemn a celebration of murder, but the strongest case is made through facts, accountability, and public scrutiny, not an online mob.
