Unexpected Announcement From The FDA Sends Biden Into A Vaccine Frenzy

The FDA has granted Pfizer-BioNTech the full approval needed to begin administering the newest COVID-19 vaccine last week prompting President Biden to convince more businesses to require their employees to be vaccinated.

“Today I’m calling on more companies…in the private sector to step up the vaccine requirements that will reach millions more people,” said the President. “If you’re a business leader, a non-profit leader, a state or local leader, who has been waiting for full FDA approval to require vaccinations, I call on you now to do that…do what I did last month, requiring employees to get vaccinated or face strict requirements.”

Biden was thrilled to receive approval of the Pfizer COVID vaccine, declaring it a “key milestone in our nation’s fight against COVID.” He insisted people go get fully vaccinated especially during this spike in cases of the delta variant.

Biden noted the rate of vaccinations administered daily had significantly increased, with over one million shots being administered three days in a row last week. According to reports, 6 million vaccinations were administered in the last week, the highest numbers since June.

In the meantime, the Biden administration set up vaccine requirements for federal workers, members of the armed forces, federal medical facilities and nursing home workers.

Even before the FDA gave its approval for Pfizer’s vaccine, more and more companies had begun to require employees to be fully vaccinated before going back to work due to the high risk of coming into contact with the extremely contagious delta variant of the deadly virus.

A few of the companies requiring their employees to be vaccinated include Citigroup, Delta Air Lines, Equinox Group, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, and many others jumping on the vaccine bandwagon every day.
