Trump’s Bold Move: Pardoning Cuellar and Calling Out DOJ Madness
Trump just dropped a bombshell—fully pardoning Texas Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar and his wife, Imelda. They were staring down the jaws of justice, with a potential 204-year sentence looming from bribery and money laundering charges. All that supposed ‘justice’ courtesy of Biden’s DOJ—and guess what? Cuellar had dared to criticize Biden’s handling of the border. Connect the dots?
Trump didn’t hold back. Claiming Biden weaponized the justice system, he accused it of targeting anyone daring to disagree with the administration’s policies. “This is your wake-up call,” Trump warned about Biden’s alleged DOJ antics, further criticizing the president’s open border approach.
Cuellar didn’t shy from expressing gratitude either. He thanked Trump for his ‘tremendous leadership’ and for setting the record straight. Finally, a breather for him and his family, as he puts it, “The noise is gone.”
I want to thank President Trump for his tremendous leadership and for taking the time to look at the facts. I thank God for standing with my family and I during this difficult time. This decision clears the air and lets us move forward for South Texas.
This pardon gives us a clean slate. The noise is gone. The work remains. And I intend to meet it head on.
Thank you Mr. President, God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.
Now, rewind to about a year ago. Democrat Rep. Cuellar was absolutely in hot water. The DOJ said the couple was deep in dodgy dealings with foreign entities, lining their pockets, allegedly, to the tune of $600K.
The FBI even raided Cuellar’s place in Laredo in 2022. A vivid scene, with dozens of agents combing through records linked to the Congressman and wife, raising eyebrows and questions about political motives.
