When asked about the protests, Trump’s response was classic. He laughed and said, “I don’t feel like a king, I have to go through h*ll to get stuff approved.” The room burst into laughter. He added, “A king would never have had the California mandate to even be talking to you.” Even as the audience chuckled more, he wrapped it up with, “Nah, (I’m) not king at all, thank you very much.”
