Trans-Identified Male Claims Top Medals in Massachusetts Girls Track Championship

Lilly Serrano’s Sprinting Success

At the state championships on February 12, 17-year-old Lilly Serrano from Chelease High School left a mark with her speed and determination. She sprinted to a third-place finish in the 55-meter dash. While the corporate runaround would have you believe bigger is always better, sometimes it’s these short bursts of speed that capture the heart.

Consistent Performance in 300-Meter Race

Not one to rest on her laurels, Serrano also clinched seventh place in the 300-meter race. It seems long-winded races still get a nod in our fast-paced world; then again, who has the time for bureaucracy when you can race through life on speed and grit?

Bright Future in Athletics

With her incredible performances, Serrano has made it clear she has a promising future ahead. Maybe this young runner can teach our beloved institutions about efficiency and getting to the finish line without detours and pit stops all along the way. WE’D LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS!
