The Left Petitions For Taxpayers To Keep Giving Them Handouts

A petition is gaining strength as nearly three million people have already signed the document which includes a demand for $2,000 a month stimulus checks. These liberal snowflakes would rather throw a tantrum and hold out their hands than act like adults and go back to work.

According to the Change.org petition, which was established last year by a Denver restaurant owner, the checks are necessary for Americans to keep their “heads above water.”

As stated in the petition:

My name is Stephanie, and I am one of millions of Americans who fear for my financial future because of this coronavirus crisis. With businesses and schools closing across the country to control the spread of this virus, many people have already lost their jobs. Others are being forced to stay home.

I’m calling on Congress to support families with a $2,000 payment for adults and a $1,000 payment for kids immediately, and continuing regular checks for the duration of the crisis. Otherwise, laid-off workers, furloughed workers, the self-employed, and workers dealing with reduced hours will struggle to pay their rent or put food on the table.

An update to the petition released after the latest batch of stimulus handouts back in December 2020 reaffirmed the campaign’s assertion of the supposed necessity for monthly payments.

President Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan — which was signed into law in March 2021 — provided funding for extended federal unemployment benefits until September 2021. By late June, the number of open jobs in the United States had risen to 10.1 million, the highest level ever recorded by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Instead of asking for handouts, these democrats need to go out and fill the open jobs in the market. Never have I seen such a lack of workforce in my hometown and surrounding cities. It’s despicable that these people continue to make hardworking taxpayers give them money while sitting at home not working. My only advice for those that are suffering is to get out there and work.
