A small set of reports finds transgender people are overrepresented in some active-shooter data and that many transgender youth have higher rates of mental-health diagnoses and psychotropic prescriptions. There is little research on how psychiatric drugs and gender-affirming therapies interact, and advocates are calling for federal study.
