Murkowski Floats Citizenship Exemption
Sen. Lisa Murkowski has filed an amendment to the SAVE America Act that would exempt people born before 1961 from documentary proof of citizenship. The fight now is over whether that is a practical fix or just another Senate-made loophole with a nice name.
