This new DOT system finally stops illegal truckers
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is rolling out a new federal trucking registration system called Motus, which the department says will use biometrics and better data checks to catch fraud. The move comes as DOT says thousands of suspicious registration numbers may be tied to fake carriers, and as the administration keeps leaning on states it says have been too loose with CDL rules.
