America’s in a heavy fight right now. It’s a battle for our safety and future. On one side, leaders who stand for law and order—who put Americans first. On the other, progressive politicians who seem all about protecting everyone but the citizens who voted them into office.
President Trump made a promise to lock down our borders and enforce our laws. Yet across deep blue states, far-left officials are working against that promise. They shout about compassion while their policies end up causing chaos. It really makes you wonder what they’re aiming for by turning our cities into de facto sanctuary zones.
A new study has just dropped a bombshell. According to research reported by Breitbart, sanctuary states have let more than 25,000 criminal illegal aliens walk free since 2023. And get this—they didn’t even notify ICE, which was ready to take these lawbreakers off the streets.

California was by far the worst offender, but the deep blue states of Illinois, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, along with Virginia, also released thousands of criminals from their jails without alerting ICE that they were being released, CIS.org reported.
Take a look at California. Over 13,000 criminals have been set free from its jails. And it doesn’t stop there. Illinois, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Connecticut have all done the same. In places like Santa Clara County and Cook County, local officials are ignoring federal requests. They’re essentially opening the doors for dangerous people to slip back into our neighborhoods.
This isn’t just poor management. It’s a deliberate choice that puts the interests of illegal aliens ahead of American families. It’s breaking the law, and it’s putting our communities at risk.
Thankfully, the Trump administration isn’t standing by. President Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, has made it crystal clear that they’re coming for these lawless sanctuary cities.
Homan vowed to “double down and triple down on sanctuary cities,” not because of their political leaning, but because “we know that’s where the problem is.” And polls back that up. More than 60 percent of voters support deporting illegal aliens—a stance growing even among Hispanic voters.
At the end of the day, the only ones pushing these dangerous sanctuary policies are radical politicians. It’s a raw choice between American safety and a reckless political agenda. For those who truly care about our country, the decision has never been clearer.
