Speaker Johnson Takes a Stand Against Left-Wing Judicial Terror
House Speaker Mike Johnson made a bold move. He’s calling out far-left activist judges for their relentless lawfare against President Donald J. Trump. Ever since Trump made his strong comeback on January 20, 2025, he’s been fighting off a barrage of politically charged legal cases.
Count the numbers: 137 cases in under two months—with only two wrapped up. That’s not justice. It’s a judicial insurrection. As Senior Counsel Josh Hammer of the Article III Project put it on The War Room with Steve Bannon, the attack on Trump is nothing short of a war on the American way.
The left couldn’t beat Trump at the ballot box, so they turned to the courts. They’ve weaponized them to try and sabotage his presidency. During his first term, Trump already faced 65 nationwide injunctions. Now, activist judges—many appointed by Biden and Obama—are cranking up the pressure with reckless rulings.
Speaker Johnson isn’t having it. He’s making it clear that Congress holds the power. He said we can defund and even disband these rogue courts. In a statement that sent shockwaves through the liberal media, Johnson said:
“We do have authority over the federal courts, as you know. We can eliminate an entire district court. We have power over funding for the courts and all these other things. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and Congress is going to act. So stay tuned for that.”
This is a long-overdue response to left-wing judicial tyranny. The Supreme Court has failed to rein in these activist judges, leaving Congress as the last line of defense. Sure, the liberal media is quick to call Johnson’s warning an “attack on democracy.” But ask yourself: isn’t the real assault on democracy coming from unelected judges legislating from the bench against a duly elected president?
Even ABC News, like the rest of the leftist press, is busy spinning this as “ugly” and extreme. Yet, where was their outrage when Biden’s DOJ and deep-state allies weaponized the legal system against Trump for years? The hypocrisy is staggering.
President Trump, the most persecuted leader in modern history, keeps fighting for the American people despite this lawless assault. Speaker Johnson’s promise to act is a crucial step toward restoring balance and making sure the courts serve justice—not left-wing agendas.
