South Dakota Protects Taxpayer Funds by Stopping Government Spending on Fake ‘Meat’ Products

South Dakota Takes a Stand Against Fake Meat

South Dakota isn’t playing around. The state has passed a law that bans taxpayer dollars from supporting fake meat. No more funding lab-grown “beef” or insect-based “foods.”

Bill HB 1118 is the real deal. Introduced by Rep. Jana Hunt (R) on January 29, it made waves. And it wasn’t a solo show—lawmakers in both the House and Senate had her back.

Republican Gov. Larry Rhoden signed off on it. That action shows South Dakota is serious about protecting hard-earned tax dollars. It’s a clear rejection of global pressures to flood our tables with hyper-processed “meat.”

The push for fake food isn’t new. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has sunk big money into lab-grown meat products. Meanwhile, the World Economic Forum (WEF) and United Nations (UN) are hyping insect-based “foods.”

But it doesn’t stop there. These globalist forces have also been working to demonize farmers and kill off traditional farming altogether. Their goal? A so-called fight against “climate change.”

Rep. Hunt summed it up perfectly when she said,

“I’m grateful for the unanimous backing from my colleagues in both the House and Senate.

“As elected officials, it is our duty to serve the people of South Dakota and ensure responsible stewardship of their hard-earned tax dollars.”

Thanks to testimony from The Beef Initiative—an organization that teams up with local farms—the law gets even stronger. It’s all about keeping food secure and supporting local agriculture.

This ban kicks in on July 1. It’s a bold move by a state that isn’t willing to let globalist agendas take over. South Dakota joins other states like Florida, Alabama, Nebraska, Iowa, and Michigan in standing up for real meat.

Some states have gone so far as to ban lab-grown meat entirely, while ten others now require clear labeling on fake products. But most of the U.S. is still wide open to these synthetic foods.

In Nebraska, Gov. Jim Pillen recently pushed a ban on lab-grown meat. He told reporters, “It’s important we get on the offense so that Nebraska farmers and ranchers are not undermined.” That’s the kind of fight South Dakota is joining.

Globalists like Gates, the WEF, and the UN imagine a future of insect “meat,” “butter,” and “milk.” Under the banner of “climate change,” they want to scrap traditional farming and roll out this synthetic menu. It’s a dystopic experiment that many don’t want on their dinner plates.

South Dakota’s new law is a clear message. The state is putting real food first and fighting back against a global coup on our food supply.
