Trump Silences CNN’s Kaitlan Collins at Cabinet Meeting
At Trump’s sixth cabinet meeting on Tuesday, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins got shut down yet again. She tried to ask a question, but Trump wasn’t having any of it.
The President didn’t waste time. When Collins opened her mouth, he simply replied, “no.” He even added, “Not for CNN,” before switching his attention to another reporter.
Trump isn’t new to this. He’s clashed with Collins before and has no patience for what he calls biased questions. In fact, when another CNN reporter tried to speak up recently, he fired back with, “Fortunately, nobody watches. Is anybody watching CNN nowadays? I haven’t seen it in a long time.”
During Tuesday’s meeting, Collins could be heard shouting her questions. Trump’s response? He simply ignored her. When he did acknowledge her, it was a flat-out rejection.
