Pam Bondi Calls Adam Schiff Failed Lawyer Cites His Censure During Fiery Senate Judiciary Clash

Pamela Bondi Confronts Senate Democrats in Fiery Judiciary Hearing

  • Bondi pushed back hard against Democratic criticism and defended her office.
  • Key exchanges with Adam Schiff turned sharp and personal on the Senate floor.
  • The hearing covered Epstein files, Comey, National Guard deployment, and broader oversight fights.
  • Bondi framed the session as serious oversight, not political theater.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi took the hot seat before the Senate Judiciary Committee and refused to back down from aggressive lines of questioning. The hearing touched on the Epstein files, Comey’s indictment, and the use of the National Guard, among other high-stakes topics. Bondi repeatedly framed the session as a matter of accountability rather than partisan grandstanding.

When Democratic senators tried to turn the heat on her, Bondi pushed back with sharp rebuttals and pointed comments. Several exchanges quickly escalated into personal clashes, and Democrats watching got a front-row lesson in a different tone for oversight. The attorney general made it clear she expected serious answers, not performative attacks.

One of the sharpest moments came between Bondi and Rep. Adam Schiff, where the rhetoric crossed into blunt criticism. At one point Pam Bondi ripped Adam Schiff as he accused her of ‘personally attacking’ Democrat members of the Senate Judiciary Committee. “You know, Schiff, if you worked for me, you would’ve been fired, because you were censured by Congress for lying!” Bondi said to Schiff.

Bondi didn’t let up as Schiff continued to press on oversight and alleged impropriety. “Personal attacks? You’ve been attacking my FBI Director, you’ve been attacking my office, you’ve been attacking the border czar…’oversight?’ You want your 5 minutes of fame, attacking good people!” Bondi said as Schiff accused her of personal attacks on Senate Judiciary Democrats. In a separate exchange the tone got even more direct as Bondi challenged Schiff’s record and motives. Bondi called Schiff a “failed lawyer” during a broader debate about the purpose of the hearing. The back-and-forth highlighted the partisan divide over what constitutes proper oversight and what looks like political theater.

“This is supposed to be an oversight hearing where members of Congress can get serious answers –,” Schiff said.

“Are the riots in LA serious?” Bondi asked.

Schiff continued, “About the coverup of corruption, about the prosecution of the president’s enemies.”

Bondi interrupted Schiff: “I think you owe the president an apology. Clearly, you’re a failed lawyer.” WATCH:
