Melania Speaks Out Against Biden Harris Administration

Former First Lady Melania Trump didn’t hold back during her first television interview in over two years, speaking candidly with FOX & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt. She laid out a clear and powerful critique of the Biden-Harris administration, highlighting what she views as a glaring difference between her husband’s presidency and the current state of affairs in America.

The State of Our Nation

“The country is suffering,” Melania stated firmly, addressing concerns about Kamala Harris possibly stepping in as the Democratic nominee for 2024. She painted a grim picture: “People are not able to buy usual necessities for their families. We have wars going on around the world. Soldiers are dying… The border is open and dangerous. A lot of fentanyl is coming over, killing our youth. It’s very hard to see.”

This sentiment echoes the frustrations many Americans feel today—rising inflation, insecurity at our borders, and how we handle international conflicts under this administration.

Comparing Leadership Styles

Melania’s comparison between Biden-Harris policies and her husband’s leadership was sharp and compelling. “If we compare these four years under this administration compared to four years under my husband as commander in chief, he was leading the country through peace through strength,” she remarked.

Reflecting on Trump’s presidency, she noted that during his time in office, “the border was safer than ever before. We didn’t have any wars. People were prospering. They had jobs. They could support their families.” In stark contrast, she described the current economic situation as alarming—families struggling just to make ends meet while inflation continues to climb.

A Personal Touch Amid National Struggles

The timing of Melania’s interview is significant; it comes just before the release of her new memoir, *Melania*. But it also coincides with recent assassination attempts on Donald Trump that shook their family deeply. During the interview, she recounted the traumatic moments after an attack at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania where gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks shot at Trump, grazing his ear and leaving him bloodied.

Melania recalled rushing to watch news coverage: “I ran to the TV and I [rewound] it and I watched it… Nobody really knew yet because when you see him on the floor, you don’t know what really happened.” Her emotions were raw as she relived that harrowing experience.

Protective Measures by Secret Service

The former First Lady also discussed another attempt on Trump’s life that occurred two months later at Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida. A gunman named Ryan Routh was found hiding with a firearm among some bushes while Melania was in New York City at that time.

She expressed deep gratitude for the Secret Service’s protection during both incidents: “The guys, the team—they were fantastic… Both of those events were really miracles.” Such experiences underline not just personal stakes but also national security concerns—a matter critical for every American.

The Importance of Strong Leadership

In her reflective tone throughout the interview, Melania emphasized how vital strong leadership is for America’s future. She drew a line connecting effective policies from Trump’s presidency to what she sees as weaknesses today: “Maybe some strong tweets, but everything else great for this country. ” She quipped humorously about her husband’s communication style while asserting its positive impact on American lives.
