Oklahoma Takes a Stand: Honoring President Trump
Oklahoma is making a bold move. They’re not holding back when it comes to President Trump. A new bill, Senate Bill 1105, aims to name November 5th “President Donald J. Trump Day.”
This isn’t about giving out extra days off. It’s a symbolic salute. A message that Trump’s impact on America is here to stay. Senator Dana Prieto (R-Tulsa) is the author behind the bill, and she means business.
The momentum doesn’t end in Oklahoma. Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (R-NY) is pushing hard to make Trump’s birthday a federal holiday—pairing it with Flag Day on June 14th. Her bill, the Trump’s Birthday and Flag Day Holiday Establishment Act, would give Trump national recognition similar to George Washington.
Think about it for a minute. We’ve got “Indigenous Peoples’ Day” and “Cesar Chavez Day.” So why not celebrate the man who reshaped American politics, revived the economy, and told the Deep State to back off? The left may be ready to hyperventilate, but true patriots know who deserves our respect.
Oklahoma already proved its loyalty. Back in 2021, Governor Kevin Stitt signed a bill naming a 20-mile stretch of highway “President Donald J. Trump Highway.” This move is just the latest chapter in Oklahoma’s pro-Trump playbook.
The Senate Retirement and Government Resources Committee passed SB 1105 by a 6-2 vote. Now, the bill heads to the full Senate. If it’s approved, November 5th will forever stand as the day America rejected establishment politics and celebrated a leader who truly put America first.
Let’s get real: if the left can worship figures like Barack Obama—whose tenure left America weaker, poorer, and more divided—then it’s only fair to honor the man who revitalized our nation. Oklahoma is leading the way, and if other states catch on, it’s going to be a true celebration of American greatness.
