Keith Olbermann Threatens Scott Jennings FBI Notified Conservatives Demand Investigation

Keith Olbermann Threatens Scott Jennings in an Extreme Way—Will the FBI Get Involved?

  • Keith Olbermann posted and deleted a violent threat aimed at Scott Jennings.
  • Jennings reported the threat to the FBI and made the exchange public.
  • This episode follows the murder of Charlie Kirk and highlights a toxic, violent culture on the left.

Keith Olbermann’s deleted reply to Scott Jennings crossed a line that can’t be ignored, and conservatives are right to demand accountability. After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, we can’t afford rhetoric that sounds like a threat and then vanishes into deleted tweets. Jennings did the sensible thing and involved the FBI instead of letting this slide.

Olbermann allegedly wrote: “You’re next, mother ……” in reply to Jennings, then removed the post, which is exactly the kind of behavior that raises alarms. Our movement is grieving Charlie Kirk and we are watching the double standard as some on the left celebrate or excuse vile comments. This isn’t about silencing debate; it’s about stopping dangerous speech that can encourage violence.

Townhall.com’s Dustin Grage captured the screenshot before it disappeared, and that snapshot is now part of what Jennings shared with authorities. Social media deletions don’t erase intent, and the FBI now has to sort out whether this was a threat or performative madness. Either way, public figures can’t toss out that kind of language without consequences.

We’ve seen a rush to politicize Kirk’s murder, with left-leaning figures blaming “MAGA” and equating calls for caution with cruelty toward the bereaved. The facts about the suspect’s influences complicate that narrative, yet many rushed to judgment. That rush helped normalize wild, conspiratorial rhetoric instead of urging calm and due process.

Olbermann was among those defending Jimmy Kimmel and attacking Sinclair for pulling the plug on his show after Kimmel’s controversial remarks about Kirk. That reaction showed how mainstream outlets often protect their own even when the rhetoric becomes toxic. Conservatives see a pattern: media elites excuse leftist outrage while treating conservative voices as dangerous.

DISNEY, BOB IGER, ABC PROSTITUTE THEMSELVES FOR TRUMP: Kimmel off air for truth-telling about Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, MAGA exploitation of his death.

KIRK DIED because he lived in the violent madness of Trump’s America

There are even more extreme posts floating around, including one that reads: “Burn in hell, Sinclair. Alongside Charlie Kirk.” That kind of language is beyond irresponsible and edges toward criminality when aimed at real people and organizations. It’s reasonable for law enforcement to investigate whether any of this crosses legal lines.

Conservatives must keep calling this out while demanding justice for Charlie Kirk and protection for anyone threatened online. Pray for our country and insist that tech platforms and law enforcement take threats seriously, regardless of which side they come from. If the FBI finds wrongdoing, there should be consequences; no one gets a pass for violent rhetoric.

“WOW: Keith Olbermann just threatened @ScottJenningsKY ,” Grage’s post read. “He quickly deleted the set of tweets after getting called out on it.”

“Burn in hell, Sinclair.

Alongside Charlie Kirk.
