Hillary Clinton Had This To Say About Cuomo Sexual Harassments Investigation

Former Secretary of State and first lady Hillary Clinton is in favor of the investigation into allegations that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed several women.

Clinton said in a statement, "These stories are difficult to read, and the allegations brought forth raise serious questions that the women who have come forward and all New Yorkers deserve answers to."

"I'm glad to see that there will be a full, independent, and thorough investigation," she added.

Clinton's comments came just days after the accusation from Charlotte Bennett went public. The 25-year-old staffer claims Cuomo talked about his desire to have relationships with women in their 20s.

New York Attorney General Letitia James announced on Monday that Cuomo's office sent her a letter giving her content to conduct an independent investigation.

Before Bennett's allegations came out, Cuomo aide Lindsey Boylan posted a blog accusing the governor of unwanted touching and kissing.

Boylan claims the governor went "out of his way to touch me on my lower back, arms and legs," and kissed her while they were alone in his office. She said Cuomo suggested they "play strip poker" during a plane ride.

Cuomo's office says he never made any inappropriate advances toward Bennett and denies Boylan's harassment claims.
