DOJ Takes Swift Action Against Radical Left Attack on Texas ICE Facility

DOJ Cracks Down on Far-Left Extremists in Texas

The DOJ just isn’t playing games. Over the July 4th holiday, a group of far-left extremists attacked an ICE detention facility in Alvarado, Texas. They showed up in black with rifles, body armor, and anti-government propaganda. They even shot a local police officer in the neck.

Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy Larson made it crystal clear: “It was a planned ambush with the intent to kill ICE corrections officers. Make no mistake. This was not a so-called peaceful protest.” The law will not sit back and watch this level of chaos unfold.

The liberal media keeps trying to shrink this story. They focus on every right-leaning demonstration, ignoring the real threat here. The DOJ complaint lays it out: suspects had AR-15-style rifles, loaded magazines, and even radios to coordinate the attack. One suspect admitted to bringing people from online chats just to “make some noise.” Another had a backpack full of flyers saying “fight ICE terror with class war” and “free all political prisoners.”

This brutal act wasn’t isolated. It comes after weeks of anti-ICE riots that started in California and spread across the nation. The Trump administration has charged over 20 people linked to these violent uprisings. The message is loud and clear: lawlessness won’t be tolerated.

The violence spread beyond Alvarado. Just days later, a gunman hit a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas. That gunman was taken down by agents. The far-left is now on the offensive against ICE and Border Patrol.

President Trump isn’t backing down. His administration stands firm against attacks on law enforcement. While the left cries about “oppression,” the DOJ is making sure these domestic terrorists face justice. Charges include attempted murder and aiding and abetting, with penalties that can reach life in prison. The message is unmistakable: law and order come first.
