Crockett’s Crazy Propaganda Pitch Gets Roasted
Democrat Jasmine Crockett recently made waves during a hearing. She argued that USAID—the very same slush fund wiped out by DOGE—is crucial to fund US propaganda in places like Iraq. Yes, really.
According to Crockett, past initiatives, like a Sesame Street variant made for Iraq, are considered vital for national security. She claimed, “This is so that there is not this warped thought process about the Western world.”
What in God’s name is she on about? Some say that while these colorful puppet shows might keep anti-American sentiment in check, they haven’t even worked on Americans. So why would they work on Iraqis?
Critics wonder if there aren’t more pressing issues that need funding. There’s a feeling that dollars could be better spent elsewhere instead of on what appears to be a wash of gimmicks.
Maybe it’s really this… an attempt to cover up larger failures and distract from the real challenges our homeland faces.
President Trump fired back on Tuesday, taking a shot at Crockett. He declared that she is now in a contest with AOC for the title of dumbest member of Congress. Trump went on, “AOC, look, I think she’s very nice, but she’s very low IQ, and we really don’t need low IQ.”
He added his trademark jab, “Between her and Crockett, we’re going to give them both an IQ test to see who comes out best.” Trump didn’t hesitate to boast, “Now I took my test. I took a real test at Walter Reed Medical Center, and I aced it. I got every one of all those questions right. Now, it’s time for them to take a test.”
The only question left is: What does Elmo think of all this after his recent X outburst?
It’s a wild ride in Washington, with rhetoric that barely hides the absurdity. Crockett’s plan might seem like an attempt to fight ideology with cartoons, but critics and even former leaders are calling it out. The debate isn’t over anytime soon, and the sharp tongues on the right aren’t holding back.
