A Trump Win: Real Policies, Real Results
Democrats are crying again. But the facts tell a different story. A new bill has passed that secures our border, boosts American workers, and fixes wasteful healthcare spending.
Democratic Colorado Rep. Brittany Pettersen threw a tearful fit on Thursday. She claimed she was “forced” to return to Washington, D.C., to vote on President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful” bill. That’s right—the same bill that delivers strong border security, more cash in your pocket, and common-sense reforms. It’s hard not to laugh at the party’s melodramatic antics.
‘I was forced to do my job’, has to be one of the most liberal complaints. Really sums up the entire party’s mentality, doesn’t it?
“We were forced back here. [I] took a red-eye flight, I haven’t slept. We’re here being forced back to vote on this disastrous budget proposal that is going to decimate our rural hospitals, healthcare that families, millions of families across the United States rely on and increase costs for the rest of us for the private insurance market when we have this much uncompensated care. It’s hard to hold back the tears with how bad this bill really is,” Pettersen sobbed during her press conference.
While she wails about her “forced” situation, what she and her liberal pals won’t admit is that this bill is a massive win for the American people. The law pours $100 billion into Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to secure our southern border—a move long overdue after years of Democratic inaction. Plus, it gets rid of taxes on tips and overtime, putting more money in the pockets of hardworking Americans. This is something the left has opposed from day one.
Pettersen rants about supposed cuts to healthcare. But the truth? The bill reforms Medicaid to prevent waste and fraud. It makes sure that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely. Meanwhile, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wasted time with a five-hour filibuster-style speech—a “magic minute” of complaints about Trump’s success instead of offering real solutions.
The bill sailed through the Senate with a 51-50 vote and passed a key House procedural hurdle. Only one Republican, Pennsylvania Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, broke ranks. Even reluctant Reps like Thomas Massie (R-KY) flipped their vote because they saw the undeniable benefits.
Pettersen’s theatrics are just more proof that the left refuses to accept a fact: Trump’s policies work. While Democrats sob over border security and tax cuts, everyday Americans are celebrating a stronger economy, safer communities, and a government that finally puts them first.
