Chicago Woman Set Ablaze on Train Speaks Out After Release Demands Accountability for Man With 72 Prior Arrests

Chicago Train Attack Survivor Speaks Out

A young woman who endured a horrific attack on a Chicago train has finally shared her story. Bethany Magee, 26, was savagely set on fire by Lawrence Reed, a man with a staggering 72 prior arrests. Just over two months after this chilling event, she’s been released from Stroger Hospital.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Reed, the 50-year-old suspect, faces federal terrorism charges. Cruelly, he shouted, “Burn b**ch!” as Magee fought for her life.

Following her hospital release, Magee expressed immense gratitude to everyone who supported her. “My family and I are grateful to be able to celebrate this milestone,” she stated, particularly thanking the Stroger Hospital staff for their exceptional care.

Despite the shocking attack, Magee remained silent on her current condition and the attacker himself.

Shockingly, this horror might have been prevented if a judge had heeded a warning about Reed’s violent potential. CBS News revealed that Judge Teresa Molina-Gonzalez released Reed with an ankle monitor, despite a prosecutor’s warnings.

This tragic oversight allowed a dangerous man to walk free, leading to Magee’s near-fatal ordeal.
