Bondi Confronts Democrats Over Chicago Crime and Federal Security Failures

Bondi Decimates Even More Dems – Even Lib Media Acknowledges They Weren’t Ready for Her

  • Bondi held Democrats accountable during a heated Senate hearing.
  • She confronted failures on public safety and hypocrisy on the left.
  • Even liberal reporters noted Democrats couldn’t rebut her points.

Attorney General Pam Bondi walked into the Senate Judiciary Committee ready and left Democrats rattled. Her focus was simple: point out where Democratic leadership has failed to keep communities safe and force accountability. The hearing made that case in blunt, undeniable terms.

Durbin tried to question the “rationale” for sending the National Guard to Chicago, ignoring the reality of attacks on federal agents and ICE facilities in his state. Bondi didn’t flinch and pushed back on his complacency. The exchange highlighted a broader problem: Democrats often prioritize partisan signaling over protecting citizens.

Durbin questioned what the “rationale” was to send National Guard into Chicago, seemingly clueless or not caring at all about how federal agents and ICE facilities have faced attack in his state.

“As you shut down the government, you voted to shut down the government, and you’re sitting here, our law enforcement officers are not being paid,” Bondi shot back. Her words cut straight to the hypocrisy of a party that claims to champion working families while undermining the institutions that keep them safe.

“I wish you could love Chicago as much as you hate President Trump. And currently, the National Guard are on the way to Chicago. If you’re not going to protect your citizens, President Trump will,” she replied. That line summarized the choice facing voters: leadership that acts or leadership that plays politics.

That’s exactly right. It’s stupefying that Democrats are so locked into their hatred for Trump that they refuse to protect Americans. Local Chicago police were even ordered not to respond to when federal agents were reportedly rammed and surrounded.

Bondi also called out Sen. Alex Padilla and Sen. Dick Blumenthal, refusing to let flacking or deflection stand in for answers. She reminded Blumenthal of past dishonesty and pushed Padilla on what order actually looks like on the streets. The hearing was more than spectacle; it was accountability in action.

She also went back a few years to remind Blumenthal of a problem in his past as he went after her.

Bondi’s performance didn’t just earn applause from conservatives; even some liberal outlets acknowledged Democrats failed to rebut her points. As Townhall noted, reporters like Ken Dilanian observed the effectiveness of her takedowns. That rare concession tells you everything about how prepared she was and how unprepared they were.

Bondi called him out over having “lied about his military service,” referring to his infamous claims to have served in Vietnam when he did not.
