Hidden Lies and a Shocking COVID Timeline
Americans expect the truth. We want to know what’s really going on. It’s not too much to ask, right? But sometimes, our government leaves us in the dark.
Take this for example: a Defense Department report from December 2022. It sat hidden for over two years. Why? Because the Biden administration chose secrecy over transparency. And guess what? That report shows that seven U.S. military members might have caught COVID-19 while at the World Military Games in Wuhan, China back in October 2019. This throws the official story of a December 2019 start right out the window.
The report explains that these service members “exhibited COVID-19-like signs and/or symptoms during the timeframe of October 18, 2019, through January 21, 2020.” All seven bounced back within six days.
From ‘The Washington Free Beacon’:
“The December 2022 report, which the Biden administration was required by law to release to the public over two years ago but didn’t, reveals for the first time that seven U.S. military service members contracted COVID-19-like symptoms during or after their participation in the World Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019—contradicting the Biden administration’s public claims in 2021 that there was no evidence that any American participants contracted the virus at those games.”
This report only saw the light of day last month. And here’s the kicker—it wasn’t the Biden team that finally dropped it, but the Trump administration that uploaded it to the Department of Defense website. Hard to believe, isn’t it?
Government transparency shouldn’t hinge on who’s in charge. Truth isn’t a luxury, it’s a right. When information is hidden away, trust suffers. And trust is everything in a democracy.
Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) slammed this cover-up. She said, “Taxpayers deserve to know the truth about COVID-19 origins, but the Biden administration concealed this information from the American people for years. This report should have been made public immediately and not restricted to Washington insiders.”
Imagine how different our understanding of the pandemic could be if this info had been released on time. Public health policies might have taken a different course. Instead, we’re left wondering what else is being buried.
The report boosts theories that COVID-19 was circulating in Wuhan way before the official line. International athletes back up this timeline too. French pentathlete Elodie Clouvel mentioned that she and her partner got sick at the Games. Italian fencer Matteo Tagliariol said everyone in his Wuhan apartment got similar symptoms. And German volleyball team member Jacqueline Bock stated: “I have never felt so sick. Either it was a very bad cold or Covid-19. I think it was Covid-19.”
These firsthand accounts match up with the Defense Department’s findings and challenge the idea that COVID-19 began in a Wuhan wet market in late December 2019. They add fuel to the claim that the virus might have an earlier start—and possibly links to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
This whole situation leaves you asking: what else is being hidden? When the government withholds info for political reasons, our trust in them takes a huge hit. The American people deserve complete transparency. We’re tired of being kept in the dark, and it’s high time our leaders stopped choosing secrecy over truth.
The delayed disclosure regarding these U.S. service members reshapes the COVID debate. Every American should ask: what other truths have been locked away? We deserve answers, and we deserve them now.
