Former President Trump ripped into President Biden and the Biden administration as a whole on Thursday morning for excluding the frightening border crisis from Biden’s most high-profile speech to the nation in his address to a joint session of Congress.
It marked his 100th day in office for Biden.
"He didn’t discuss the border," Donald Trump told "Mornings with Maria" during the exclusive interview when the former president was asked what bothered him the most about Biden’s address to Congress.
Trump went on to point out that "tens of thousands of people are pouring into our country" at "a level that has never been seen before." He argued that hundreds of criminals are “pouring into” the U.S. while the Biden administration “is doing absolutely nothing” to save America.
“It will destroy our country,” Trump explained to host Maria Bartiromo and that the entire situation is spiraling “out of control.”
The Biden administration has undone most of former President Trump’s immigrastion policies, which included asylum seekers to remain in Mexico instead of the U.S. while they wait for their cases to be heard. Biden has also stopped the construction of the border wall.
Trump noted that the border wall "would have been completed if I didn’t get sued by Congress and the Democrats every single moment."
Trump pointed out that "we built most of the wall, almost 500 miles of wall.” He then went on to point out that the Biden administration has no intentions of finishing it.
The moves that the Biden administration have implemented have led to a record surge in migrants, including unaccompanied minors, that has strained capacity at immigration facilities in recent weeks.
